Allow return to previous location on full system registers and left side navigation menu freezes in place

When navigating through the registers, can it be possible to return to your previous point when updating and clicking save. Currently you go straight back to the top of the register and have to find where you previously was. Also when scrolling through the register, can the left hand navigation menu freeze in place.
