Account Administration: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
MFA works on access tokens. You only need to enter the passcode once upon login and the system will store your access token for that particular session. You will be able to navigate through any systems whether they have MFA enabled or not without needing to enter your MFA passcode again. Sessions will expire after a period of inactivity or when you log out. If a session expires, you will need to enter another MFA passcode to start a new session.
How to enable MFA:
In order to enable MFA, you will need to be a Master Admin of the system.
- Go to your user menu, located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

2. Select Enable MFA.

3. You should receive a notification confirming that MFA has been enabled. Click OK to continue.

MFA is now enabled for your system. Any users which try to access the system will now receive an email with a passcode they will need to enter to access the system.
How to access a system with MFA enabled:
MFA works through sending a unique, time-sensitive passcode via email to the users registered email address.
- Log into issosmart

2. Select the system you wish to access.

3. You will receive an email containing the passcode.

4. Enter the passcode into issosmart to authenticate your login.
